little update

I have just loads and loads of book reviews to start posting, been reading like a mad woman...

but first, I have done 3 new small original collages on canvas panel, they are all 5x7 in size. It has been ages since some small one of a kind pieces have been in my shop, so I am really excited about these. The first has already been listed and the others will be posted throughout the day.

sleepless nights

so for what seems like forever I have been having a terrible bout of insomnia...you know the kind where you fall right to sleep because you are so tired, but then wake after about an hour or two and cannot go back to bed.

Now, I blame this pattern on equal parts allergies, panic, too much caffeine, and an imagination that wakes me with stories playing through my head, even at 3:00am.

After a few weeks of this pattern things start to get strange, noises seem both louder and further away, colors are brighter....that bright spring grass can seem almost menacing even during the day.

All that being said....I sort of like it, those hours when it seems no one else in the world is awake and you dream or you think you're dreaming even when you are awake.

Anyway....that's what the pieces posted today are all about, that fine line between awake and asleep, between madness and dreaming.

They will be posted in the shop later today.

um, is this thing on?

ok, I am breaking radio silence for the first time in approximately one million years...and here I am just going to post a bunch of pictures of things in my shop.

I know, I know...super lazy.

but bear with me, this is a baby step, me sticking my toe back in the tepid swimming pool that is my blog.

Anyway, do expect to see a touch more of me. There are adventures to be had and shared and by golly blog-landia I will be sharing them with you.

but for now....here is just a taste of what I have been doing. Tons and Tons of new card sets as well as new aceos on stretched canvas...they are completely adorable and I am totally in love with aceos all over again.
